The State of New Hampshire is a state in the New England region of the northeastern United States known as “The Granite State.” It was one of the Thirteen Colonies and became the ninth state to ratify the United States Constitution. New Hampshire is bordered by Quebec, Maine, the Atlantic Ocean, Massachusetts, and Vermont. Per capita personal income in 2005 was $37,835. Its agricultural outputs are dairy products, nursery stock, cattle, apples, and eggs. Its industrial outputs are machinery, electric equipment, rubber and plastic products, and tourism. |
