 Introduction
Nevada is a state located in the western United States, best known for its widespread legalization of gambling, the gaming. The capital is Carson City. Nevada's nickname is "The Silver State," "The Sagebrush State,” and “Battle Born State.” Per capita personal income in 2003 was $31,910. Its agricultural outputs are cattle, hay, alfalfa, dairy products, onions and potatoes. Its industrial outputs are tourism, mining, machinery, printing and publishing, food processing, and electric equipment. Large, luxurious casinos in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and Reno attract visitors from around the world.
